Who Actually Uses One Way Cabs?
Honestly, almost everyone who travels intercity can benefit from a one way cab. But there are some situations where it makes especially good sense:
People travelling for work – You're going to a client meeting or an office in another city. You don't need the cab waiting around. You'll find your own way back, or your company will arrange it. A one way cab gets you there without unnecessary cost.
Families visiting relatives – You're going to your parents' place or your in-laws' for a few days. You'll be there for a while before coming back. Why pay for a return trip on the very first day?
People catching a flight – You need to reach the airport early morning. You book a one way cab, reach the airport, and you're done. No round trip needed.
Students going back to college – Semester starts, bags are packed, and you need to get to your college city. A one way cab is the most affordable option compared to sharing a round-trip fare.
People relocating to another city – This is the clearest case. You're moving. You're not coming back. A one way cab is the only thing that makes sense here.
Weekend getaways – You and your friends are going to a hill station or a nearby town. You'll figure out how to get back later—maybe a bus or a different cab. Why book a round trip right now?
In all these cases, a one way cab saves money and gives you more flexibility.
Vehicles Available for One Way Cab Booking
We offer different vehicle types so you can pick what suits your travel and budget.
Hatchback - The budget-friendly option. Good for solo travellers or a couple with light luggage. Smaller cars like these are also easier to navigate through narrow lanes or smaller towns. If you're watching your travel budget and don't need a lot of space, a hatchback gets the job done well.
Good for: Solo travel, short to medium distances, tight budgets
Fits: Up to 3 passengers + small bags
Sedan - The most popular choice for intercity one way travel. A sedan gives you comfortable seating, decent boot space, and a smoother ride on highways. If you're travelling with your family or carrying a bit more luggage, a sedan is the right call. It's also the preferred choice for business travel — professional, clean, and comfortable.
Good for: Small families, business trips, medium to long distances
Fits: Up to 4 passengers + medium luggage
SUV - When you need more space — either more people or more bags — an SUV is the answer. These are big, comfortable vehicles with plenty of legroom and boot space. If you're travelling in a group of five or six, or if you're relocating with heavy luggage, this is what you want. Long-distance trips are also much more comfortable in an SUV.
Good for: Groups, families with kids, relocations, long-distance trips
Fits: Up to 6–7 passengers + large luggage
All vehicles are air-conditioned, well-maintained, and cleaned before every trip.
Why Choose Gocabish for One Way Cab Booking?
There are a few cab booking platforms out there. Here's why people who've tried Gocabish tend to stick with it:
The Price You See is the Price You Pay - This might sound obvious, but it's actually rare in the cab industry. A lot of platforms show you a low price and then add things on — toll charges they "forgot" to mention, night charges, luggage fees, driver allowance. By the time you've paid, you're wondering why you didn't just book elsewhere.
At Gocabish, we show you the full fare before you confirm. Tolls that apply to your route are shown upfront. Night charges, if any, are mentioned clearly. You're not going to find a surprise on your invoice.
Only One-Way Charges — Nothing Extra - This is the whole point of a one way cab service, and we take it seriously. There is no return fare hidden somewhere in your quote. You pay for the distance you travel, based on the vehicle you choose. Full stop.
Drivers Who Are Actually Verified - You're getting into a car with someone you don't know and travelling a few hundred kilometers. That's a lot of trust. We understand that, which is why every driver on Gocabish goes through a background check before they're allowed on the platform. They carry valid licenses, their vehicles are registered, and they're experienced on intercity routes.
Clean Vehicles, Every Time - There's nothing worse than getting into a cab for a long journey and finding it dirty or poorly maintained. All vehicles listed on Gocabish are regularly inspected and cleaned before trips. Whether you book a basic hatchback or a spacious SUV, you're getting into a well-kept car.
Book Anytime — Day or Night - Some of the most common travel times are early mornings (catching 5 AM flights) and late nights (arriving on late trains). Our booking system works 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you need a cab at 3 AM, you can book one.
Routes Across India - We cover hundreds of intercity routes. Maharashtra is our home ground — Nashik, Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Shirdi, Nagpur, and more — but our service extends far beyond that. If you need to travel between two cities, there's a good chance we cover that route.
How One Way Cab Pricing Works
Our pricing is straightforward. Here's what goes into your fare:
Base fare – A fixed starting amount for the booking, regardless of distance.
Per kilometre rate – This is the main part of your fare. It's calculated based on the actual road distance between your pickup and drop location.
Vehicle type – A hatchback costs less per km than a sedan, which costs less than an SUV. You choose what fits your need and budget.
Toll charges – These are the actual tolls on your route. We don't mark them up — you pay what the toll plaza charges.
Night charges – If your trip falls between 11 PM and 6 AM, a small night charge may apply. This is shown to you before you book.
What is NOT in your fare:
- Return fare of any kind
- Hidden booking fees
- Driver allowance (for most standard routes)
- Any charges that aren't shown upfront
You'll see a complete fare breakdown on the booking page before you confirm. Nothing gets added after.
